Based on its Corporate Behavior Charter, the Meiji Group continuously strives to improve the quality of its products through in-house developed quality assurance systems tailored to the specific characteristics of each business operation.
In order to deliver tasty, safe and reassuring food products to consumers, we are developing and operating the optimal quality assurance systems tailored to the specific characteristics of each business operation. These systems comply with the relevant laws and regulations, as well as the rules and stipulations of various associations, as well as universally recognized standards, such as the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), in addition to reflecting customer feedback. In every stage, ranging from development to sales, we implement and relentlessly reinforce and improve our PDCA management cycle, or the “Plan” (set quality standards), “Do” (put into practice), “Check” (confirm and extract issues), and “Act” (improve) cycle, in an effort to earn our customers' trust, satisfy them, and enhance the value of the Meiji Brand.

With regard to pharmaceutical products, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare sets strict rules on R&D, manufacturing, shipment, accumulation of side-effect information, provision of product information, and so on.
The Pharmaceuticals segment, following consistent policies and Action Guidelines that place top priority on the customer, considers its primary purpose to be "for the patient" and endeavors to provide pharmaceutical products that healthcare practitioners and patients can use with complete confidence in the product's safety. The segment also produces high-quality agricultural chemicals and veterinary drugs that users and healthcare practitioners can use with complete confidence.
