Yuhei Matsumoto is responsible for executing group-wide human resources strategies and policies as head of the Group HR Strategy Department.

After joining Meiji Dairies Corporation in 1985, Yuhei worked to improve the company's disaster preparedness and develop its compliance system over many years. Following the company's reorganization as Meiji Co., Ltd., in 2011, he continued to play a leading role in risk management and compliance, drawing from his broad expertise in business and legal affairs. On the strength of his achievements, Yuhei was put in charge of the company's general and legal affairs in 2014.

In 2019, Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd. appointed Yuhei as an executive officer and head of its HR & General Affairs Department. In that role, he successfully administered a safe and infection-free general meeting of shareholders during the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020. He also ensured that Meiji Holdings, Meiji Co., Ltd., and Meiji Seika Pharma Co., Ltd. were recognized by the government for their outstanding "health and productivity management" for the fifth consecutive year.

Yuhei is currently focusing on personnel policy planning as head of the Group HR Strategy Department, which was newly established in 2021 to optimally assign employees across the Group and maximize the potential of human resources. Also, in 2023, he was appointed as Meiji Holding's first chief human resource officer.
