As chief financial officer, Jun Hishinuma is responsible for guiding the Meiji Group's financial strategies.

Jun began his career in 1988 at Meiji Dairies Corporation, where he gained practical experience in accounting, administration, and management. After Meiji Dairies was reorganized into Meiji Co., Ltd., Jun was appointed as general manager of its operating innovation department in 2015. In that role, he spearheaded operational process reforms in the company's administration division.

From April 2017 to March 2020, Jun was involved in formulating and executing the company's long-term vision and medium-term business plan as general manager of the corporate development department. He also initiated management strategies while overseeing the reorganization of Meiji's group-wide business portfolio. Later, Jun led new business creation initiatives and sales strategies while heading the new product & business development department followed by the marketing management department in the marketing division.

Recognizing his leadership qualities and ability to plan and carry out company-wide management strategies, Meiji appointed Jun as an executive officer and general manager of its corporate development division in April 2022.

In June 2024, Jun joined the board of Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd., as CFO and senior managing executive officer in charge of the corporate administration department, IR department, and IFRS management department. Since then, he has been applying his expertise in management strategies and financial accounting to formulate and execute group-wide financial strategies.
