Yasushi Watanabe was appointed to Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd.'s Audit & Supervisory Board as an internal auditor in June 2025.

Yasushi joined Meiji Seika Kaisha Ltd. in 1989, and after building a track record in pharmaceutical product sales, he accumulated experience and achievements in a wide range of operations, from corporate planning and administration to general and legal affairs. When the Meiji Group was reorganized in 2011, he set up a new operational platform for the newly established Meiji Seika Pharma Co., Ltd. Later, he helped formulate Meiji Group Vision 2026 as a member of Meiji Seika Pharma's corporate development department, and was involved in establishing KM Biologics Co., Ltd., a major contribution to the Group's expansion.

In 2023, Yasushi was appointed as associate general manager of Meiji Seika Pharma's corporate administration division. In this role, he worked to strengthen risk management and financial controls while helping execute corporate strategies, and enhanced administrative efficiency and corporate governance throughout the entire company.

Based on his extensive experience and wide-ranging expertise, Meiji Holdings appointed Yasushi to serve on its Audit & Supervisory Board as an internal auditor. He is expected to help raise the Company's value and improve its corporate governance, especially with respect to finance and accounting, legal affairs, and risk management.
