Youichirou Yamagata has been serving as head of Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd.'s Corporate Development Department since 2021.

Youichirou joined Meiji Dairies Corporation in 1990, where he acquired experience in business administration. Later, he played a key role in the company's project to set up a shared service center for its capital management and accounting departments in 2000. When the Meiji Group was reorganized in April 2011, he contributed to the smooth establishment of the new company as a member of a team overseeing the reorganization of its operations.

In the years that followed, Youichirou was active in planning the confectionery business, through which he made significant contributions to restructuring the business and generating synergies between it and the dairy business.

Youichirou also gained valuable experience in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders through his involvement in media and public relations at Meiji Co., Ltd., from 2014 and investor and public relations at Meiji Holdings from 2019.

In recognition of Yoichiro's leadership and achievements in diverse fields, Meiji Holdings appointed him as an executive officer in June 2025. As head of the Company's Corporate Development Department, he is currently playing an important role in improving corporate governance and formulating medium- to long-term plans for the Group as a whole.
