Takefumi Koga is responsible for executing the Meiji Group’s digital transformation (DX) as head of the Group DX Strategy Department.

Takefumi began his career at Meiji Dairies Corporation in 1987. Following the company’s reorganization as Meiji Co., Ltd., in 2011, he was put in charge of Information Systems Department in 2017. He then played a central role in carrying out initiatives designed to digitally transform the company. Among them, from July 2019 to April 2022, Takefumi led a project to upgrade internal accounting systems and improve related processes. After launching these new systems, he was promoted to head of the company’s Digital Management Division in April 2022. In that role, he applied systems to enhance business processes while making effective use of data applications. Based on his track record as a leader, Takefumi was appointed as an executive officer at Meiji Co., Ltd., in June 2023.

Recognizing Takefumi’s management ability and technical knowledge, Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd., appointed him to the positions of executive officer and head of the Group DX Strategy Department in April 2024. Takefumi is now working to digitally transform the entire Meiji Group by applying his expertise in data and information systems.
